Tagaytay Sightseeing Tour

Tagaytay, located on a ridge 2,250 ft. above sea level, is a leisurely drive to the countryside 60 kms. south of Manila, past small coastal villages and towns; rice fields, tropical fruit orchards and coconut plantation. From the heights of Tagaytay, enjoy the breathtaking sight of one of the world’s strangest wonders – Taal Volcano, a volcano within a volcano and lake within a lake.

This two hour drive stops briefly at the Las Pinas Church, site of the Bamboo Organ, and the Sarao jeepney factory – see how the Filipino ingenuity and culture take from with this versatile motor vehicle. Amidst the view of sprawling pineapple farms, sample tropical fruits on the streets before heading up to Metro Manila.

Taal Volcano Trekking + Taal Heritage Town Tour with Lunch

After about one and a half hour land drive to Talisay, Batangas, depart on a motorised outrigger boat. After a short boat ride across the lake, you will reach the trekking point. Be stunned with the first sight of the crater and be mesmerised with the bright turquoise waters which are surrounded by the volcano’s huge crater walls. The trek will be a guided tour where you are given choice to hike by foot or ride ponies on the ascent.

 

Travel back in time by visiting the Taal Heritage Town, which is a fine example of sustainable development, showcasing the distinct Philippine lifestyle, culture, arts and cuisines, despite of the urbanisation and modernisation of its neighbouring towns and cities. This tour includes visits to the Basilica of San Martin de Tours (Asia’s largest Catholic Church) and the Arch of Santa Lucia near the Church of Our Lady of Caysasay. 

Pagsanjan Falls Tour with Lunch

Approximately two hours from Manila, the fun begins as you board your dugout canoes that will take you to the falls. “Shoot the rapids” with expert boatmen traversing the turbulent waters and trying to outdo each other in friendly, frenzied competition.

Spend some time at the falls for a swim or a raft ride under the falls. A heads up, the water is cool to the skin, quenching a much-needed refreshing for the body. Return to the resort by riding the currents of the rapids with your boatmen skilfully guiding canoe. 

After lunch, return to Manila. If time permits, a stop will be made in the town of Liliw, the Footwear Capital of the Philippines.

Hidden Valley Springs with Lunch

A two and a half hours drive from Manila will take you to the town of Alaminos where Hidden Valley is. Several springs with hot, cold and soda water, lace a forest of huge fruit trees, tropical shrubs and flowering plants. Cross bridges amid century old trees, leading to surprising waterfalls.

Getting to the Hidden spring will need tad trek, wade and swim to reach the waterfalls. En route, you will see vivified flora and fauna, brightly coloured flowers and fluttering butterflies. You will also discover a natural garden, a rainforest abode to some exotic plants and rare wildflowers growing in it. A communal dining hall is shared during the feast-like buffet lunch. After lunch, return to Manila.

Villa Escudero Coconut Plantation with Lunch

Approximately two hours from Manila is a Philippine heritage experience. Walk through the museum that houses one of the country’s largest private collections of world antiquities. Paddle a native bamboo raft on still waters of the river. Explore its lush surroundings and see many resident bird species along the way. 

Next stop would be the Labasin Waterfalls Restaurant, one of the centre-pieces of Villa Escudero. Enjoy its traditional Filipino buffet lunch, kamayan style, while soaking your feet in the shallow running water (weather-dependent).

 

After lunch, the Philippine Experience Show showcases the country’s rich culture that has been preserved by traditional dances and music.
