Day 1: HALF DAY MANILA CITY TOUR

  • Arrival in Manila
  • Meet and transfer to hotel
  • The tour starts right in the heart of Philippines’s financial district, the City of Makati. Have a glimpse of Makati’s hustle and bustle as you drive through on your way to the capital city, Manila. Onwards Rizal Park on scenic Roxas Boulevard, arrive in Intramuros, “The Walled City,” to see ancient walls, church ruins, and relics from Spain’s Conquistadores.
  • Sites to visit: American War Cemetery, Rizal Park, Fort Santiago, San Agustin Church, and Manila Cathedral.
  • Overnight accommodation at Best Western Plus – Antel Hotel (3*) or Manila Hotel (5*)

Day 2: TAGAYTAY RIDGE TOUR

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • About an hour and a half drive south of Manila lies the picturesque City of Tagaytay. It offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano, the “lake within a volcano within a lake within a volcano.” This vista can be savored from atop the People’s Park in the Sky. Stop by the Bamboo Organ of Las Piñas and a local jeepney assembly plant on your way back.

Day 3: MANILA / LAOAG / VIGAN

LAOAG CITY TOUR – Ilocos Norte (2 hours away from Vigan)

Long before Laoag was established in 1580 with William the hermit as its patron saint, it was renowned for its old mines. And so Chinese and Japanese merchants frequently visited the city. Loaog eventually became the capital of Ilocos Norte and a loyal Marcos country.

Day 4: VIGAN / BAGUIO (188KM OR APPROX 5 HOURS BY LAND)

VIGAN HERITAGE TOUR

Spanish-era mansions, cobblestone streets and the kalesa (horse-drawn carriage) are the hallmarks of historic Vigan. Miraculously spared by bombing in WWII, Vigan was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: BAGUIO / BONTOC / SAGADA (APPROX. 5-6 HOURS)

BAGUIO CITY TOUR

Baguio is the gateway to the mighty Cordillera Mountain Range. The city offers the best handicrafts and metal ornaments. Lunch in a local restaurant (on personal account). Proceed to Bontoc/Sagada via the scenic Halsema Highway. Dinner at hotel (on personal account).

Day 6: SAGADA / BONTOC / BANAUE (APPROX. 75KM ROUGH ROAD – 3 HOURS)

  • After breakfast, visit the picturesque town of Sagada, and stop and see the ancient burial caves with mummified coffins.
  • Explore the Bontoc Museum, founded by a Belgian Sister, which houses a varied collection of authentic artifacts and photos of the mountain tribes.
  • Then proceed to Banaue. Lunch and dinner (on personal account).
  • Overnight accommodation at Banaue Hotel (3*)

Day 7: BANAUE / HAPAO VILLAGE RICE TERRACES – NON-AIRCON JEEPNEY

Day 8: BANAUE / MANILA (APPROX 338 KM OR 8-10 HOURS BY LAND)

    The gateway to Banaue is through the land-locked evergreen provinces of Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya. Countryside scenes such as rice fields surrounding the small towns and villages are common sights showing simplicity of living.

Day 9: MANILA / PUERTO PRINCESA (APPROX. 1 HOUR AND 10 MIN. BY AIR)

A natural world heritage site, the park is Puerto Princesa City’s premiere ecotourism destination. It is included in the prestigious UNESCO world heritage site lists for its outstanding universal value and ecological significance, and as a natural site of intense beauty.
